This efficient 2 week in-person course is built to equip you with knowledge about evidence based care, comfort measures, and how to advocate for yourself and your family.
Everyone deserves to feel like informed, heard, and respected during their birth experience. By providing comprehensive and thorough education, I’ll help you fill in any gaps you might have in your knowledge surrounding birth and give you the tools to confidently stand up for yourself and your baby throughout the birthing process.
We’ll talk about the physiology of labor, cesareans, coping techniques, pain management options, mindset, and how to communicate with providers.
As a cannabis-informed doula and advocate of plant medicine in general, we can also discuss how you might navigate birth using alternative medicines if that interests you.
My classes are inclusive and welcoming to all families, regardless of their birthing choices or circumstances.
Note: This course is taught in two separate 2.5 hour sessions. It’s intended to be held in the comfort of your own home or virtually.

“I was so grateful to have Soly in the birth space with me. Her presence made me feel like I wasn’t alone and was watched over, something that lent me a lot of strength in those intense moments! Her energy felt very calm and empathic, and I have to say I felt very comfortable with her there, even in my most primal and ‘embarrassing’ moments.”
— Lydia
“At the hospital she made us feel safe and heard as she helped advocate for our birth plan. Not only did she help explain procedures, she also made the experience magical and sacred. She brought a projector that displayed small stars all over the ceiling, soothing music and scents - creating the most peaceful atmosphere to welcome our daughter into. We are so grateful she was our Doula!”
— Blaine
“Having taken several of Soly’s pre-natal yoga classes, I knew the grounded nature Soly brings is what I wanted at my birth. Soly’s presence helped me feel confident in myself and in the way my birth was going: when things got really hard, her calming presence, subtle reminders to turn to my breath, and the peaceful environment they helped to facilitate allowed me to access the knowledge I had gained from my birth classes.”
— Sophia

“I’ve never regularly shown up to classes—until I found Soly’s prenatal yoga. She brings this silly, sacred kind of zen that makes you feel completely at ease. Her classes are both playful and grounding, which is rare in spaces where it’s easy to feel disconnected. I also had the joy of having her lead a blessingway and yoga the morning of my baby shower. What started as a stressful day turned into the most relaxed, joyful, and connected gathering. Thank you, Soly!”
— Thea
“Soly is amazing as always and so calming! I have been going to her for four years to prenatal yoga, and I still highly recommend!”
